Holy Love message

This is a message from Jesus given through "Holy Love Ministries".

"I am your Jesus, born Incarnate." [Jesus has light coming out of His Wounds.]

"My contract of Divine Love with humanity is signed and sealed with My Precious Blood, which was offered for all mankind. Of you, I do not ask a blood offering but a heart offering. This contract between Holy and Divine Love must bring to triumph the Perfect Will of My Father Who is the Eternal Now."

"It is a contract between Heaven and earth--a contract of unity and peace based on love. You cannot enter into this contractual relationship unless you are living in Holy Love. Therefore, clear your hearts of worldly concern lest you breach the contract between us."

This message just amazed me. Can anyone imagine a more perfect, wonderful or romantic Groom than Jesus Christ? He wants to be with His Bride, the Church, but we must make the effort to be with Him in return if we hope to spend an eternity in the loving embrace of our Lord. As one pines for love in her deepest of hearts, Christ longs to be with us and for our preference of Him above all else. I cannot deny Him.

This March day...

This March day, I worked my way;
my hands were numb, useless as a drum.
I dreamed of the sun
in a far off place,
where it warmed my feet
as well as my face.

This March day, I was frozen in place
when a world weary woman
found me in space.
She looked in my eyes and
chuckled a little;
but I was not there,
and cared not a spittle.

This March day,
I walked in a daze,
I guess you could call it

a miniature phase.

This March day
the sun winked weakly,
making my vest
shine like a binky.

This March day,
I came to,
so I looked around
and found...
I was in the middle of the street,
for the great sake of Pete!

Hope you enjoyed the horrible poem. Now I must go and... write down some morem!
(I crack myself up.) God Bless!

P.S. I just completed my second day as a crossing guard for a school close by in case you're worried about my sanity. Thanks for reading!

Humility continued...

This is a "Holy Love" Message given to Maureen (the vissionary) on January 11th, 1999:

Jesus appears with a little lamb in His arms. He says: "I am Jesus, born of the Flesh. I have come to let all people know the depth of My Divine Love. I pour out My Love on all people - all nations. Some hearts, please understand, reject Me. Remember the ice that lay over the snow up north? You walked on it, but did not sink through it to the snow. Do you recall, little heart?" "Yes." "Such is a heart that will not surrender to love. I cannot reach it, as it is encased in its own will. Let Me explain the merits of surrendering to Love, for I am Love." "Through surrender, you give all to My Mother - interior and exterior. She, in turn, gives it to Me. Then, I am able to come into your heart. This is called Holy possession. You give to My Mother everything:" "You surrender your reputation. Then Satan cannot attack you through people's opinions. (Hmmm.... People's opinions. Some act as though it's their most prized possession. They can't take it with them.)" "You surrender the mission and its course, which stands protected and provided for through Divine grace." "You surrender your appearance. I look at your heart." "You surrender your health and well-being. I will give you what you need." "You surrender all your spiritual gifts and worldly possessions, making them Mine." "Now, as St. Paul says, over all these things put on love. Holy and Divine Love will fill - and fill to overflowing - anything you empty yourself of. You will not need to seek happiness anywhere in the world. You will be happy." "This is how Divine Love comes into the soul and works, little heart. It takes dying to self and loving Me, as My Mother has been teaching you." "I am leaving you now so that you can assimilate all I have said, and make it known."

I love Him....

Humility

Humility. How much do I have? I mean, when one says they are humble, that is a general sign that they aren't. So how can you tell when someone truly is?

The first time I fit this question in my head was when I was reading a book on the Virtues as taught by Jesus himself in a collection of "Holy Love" messages.

"Holy Love" is an apparition site in Elyria, Ohio. This apparition site is, I believe, as I have personally discerned, authentic. There have been so many small miracles that have taken place there and much personal peace found there that it is something I keep track of. Daily messages are given there by Jesus, Mary, and multiple saints and angels. These messages can be found at www.holylove.org/ along with many testimonies of healing, conversions and miracles. Please, I urge you, look at the content of this website and start on a journey of personal discernment. You can lose nothing by it besides time that you might otherwise spend watching TV or reading my blog. Ignoring possibilities like these is like ignoring a Praise and Worship night at Church because you're "just too busy" catching up on sleep. If Jesus really is appearing somewhere and giving us messages and lessons on present day events, shouldn't you know about it? If the answer of a little voice in your brain says "No..." then there is something wrong. Jesus gives us nothing that He doesn't want us to benefit from.

ANYWAY... So Humility... is powerful stuff. I used to think of it as a 'slippery little virtue', but now I know that was because of my pride. How can you have two totally contradictory characteristics in you without a battle for the control of your actions taking place moment by moment? (Did that make any sense?) The only reason I saw Humility as 'slippery' was because I couldn't have that and pride at the same time without giving over to the more persuasive one once in a while. Who wants Humility when you can have Dignity and Respect? Not to mention Justified Anger. The point is, you have to let go of all the reasons you want Pride to stick around. Dignity and Self Control aren't nearly as important as Heaven. Where will your Dignity and Self Control be when you stand before God the day you die?

Trusting in yourself is when you fall among your sins right when you thought things were going your way. Like getting caught in the brambles as you walk a thin and winding road. If you let Jesus guide you, you avoid the road and brambles altogether. Like riding on the mule that Jesus leads for you. You may object to where He leads you, but that's cause you're afraid He'll dump you at the next stop, or you might even go so far as to think He doesn't know where He's going. Stupidity itself, honestly. I think I'm more like the little runt that won't stop asking "Are we there yet?" over and over and over. As Christ's Bride, the Church, we have to follow Mary's example when she lets Joseph lead the mule (maybe it was a donkey) to their destination. (Joseph, what a wonderful and handsome adopted father. )

Humility... is letting yourself be lead, no matter how scared you are or how insecure. Humility... is knowing that trusting yourself is useless, because you don't know the way. Humility... is letting your burdens be taken away from view without objection or complaint. Humility... is letting yourself be cared for. Like the Apostles at the last supper. They weren't supposed to be selfish enough not to care who washed their feet, but Humble enough to let God clean them because He is there to serve His beloved. Don't our Elders have to humble themselves when the young wash and clothe them when they are no longer able to do so themselves? We are little, and frail. All Jesus wants to do is hold us and cherish us in His arms, never to come to harm. Humility... is letting yourself be loved.

First blog entry of this year!

So, now that it's February....

In November, Judy, Cathy and I visited the Franciscan University of Stubenville, Ohio. (I doubt I spelled that right.) This was an AWESOME experience!!! Well, first we got lost in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Yeah... quite different from the small Vermont towns! So after we got out of that midnight mess, our friends were eagerly awaiting our arrival by going to this Praise and Worship called FOP on Campus. We had to look for them after we navigated the stupid parking lot. Anyway, so we really did have a lot of fun there, hanging out with freshman and watching movies and going out to applebees and so on and so forth. We even got to sit in on an exiting Church History Class while we were there. Ok, it really was interesting. We even got to swing dance a little on Sunday evening. Everything considered, I really want to go there! Unfortunately, it's 25 thousand a year and that's just not going to work for me unless I get a miracle. We went there on large part cause we wanted to visit some homesick friends. Oh well, hope I dream about it.

Next thing that I did in the last few months that's worth discussing is probably the March for Life in Montpelier, the capital. Judy made up a chant to scream out and it goes like this: "WHO ARE WE? YOUTH! WHAT ARE WE? ALIVE! WHAT DO WE STAND FOR? LIFE! Yeah, some people where shouting afterword as well but mostly from loss of hearing. When asked why they turned deaf, one would shout in a quiet room: "I was walking next to Judy!" Right...

The next weekend, we went to Washington DC for the National March for Life. That was fun as we went with lots of other Vermont people. First, after we got off the buss in the middle of the city, we had to stand in line to get into the Verizon Center where there was a Catholic Rally for Life with hundreds of thousands of people (half were teens) that were singing and having fun. It was awesome! After the Rally, we walked to the Mall/park place where we started. There was another sort of rally there where many speakers talked about pro-life issues and politics. Finally, after that, we started on the march! Well, the people in the front did. The rest of us in the middle and back were at a standstill for about and hour until we got to shuffling over the garbage left in the street and getting trampled. There were so many signs and posters being held up that it was impossible to see down the street over peoples' heads. Thankfully, it was sunny and warm compared to last last years freezing rain. We were all thankful. After a long day and night of travel, we all (the Vermont group at least) piled back on the bus for a short night of sleep till we got to our various stops where our cold cars were awaiting our return. It was about five in the morning before I was back home. Needless to say, I was REALLY sleepy.

I was at a Diocesan Youth Council meeting the other day and then it was the Deanery meeting the next day. I guess you could day I wasn't busy but that's not really the way it felt. It's not like that was the only things I was doing but those were both spiritually exhausting. Interesting...

This weekend, I am going to "Mount 2000 and Beyond" for a fun weekend. This has got to be my favorite time of the year if not the wonderful weather of spring and early summer.

Speaking of weather, cold is an understatement when it comes to recent temperatures. Because of the high cost of oil heating, my parents have switched to the less expensive option of wood and coal heating. We got a new boiler delivered late this fall and were stacking wood for several weeks when the wood was delivered soon after. I'm really out of shape...

Finally I come to my close as I am hungry for lunch. May God bless you and yours for all eternity. Blessed Mother, Pray for us. Saint Micheal the Arch Angel, Pray for us.

Fall Festival!!!

Just wanted to drop in again and say that the Fall festival I wrote about below went well!
It was cold, and only some of us had costumes on, but everything turned out as well as could be expected. My 4-H group went there to fund raise, and my sister went practically crazy with the preparations, but we survived to tell about it. There was food, a live band in the warm building, apple-bobbing, face painting and other booths for people to look through. Well, ok, it was slow and not very interesting looking, but the people putting it on had fun! Only a few people came to look and were evidently disappointed. I felt bad for my sister. I think she was so busy though that she didn't really notice much about who came or didn't. I hope that was the case at least...

Anyway, I'm praying for you and thanks for reading this blog. haha

really, really long time no blog...

Wow. What a life I live. Right now, I am having an interesting time. If one is to look at me, I know not what they will think. I guess you could call it personality development? At this point in time, I am being put into many responsibility roles. They are minor for the most part, because I drag my sister into them with me. So you might call them co-chair positions. Then, I come to the realisation that She will soon be going off to college and leaving me. This, in particular, is making me think about my role in society as a young woman. I have been slowly realizing, day after day, week after week, month after month, slow year after slow year, that I am growing up. I heard about it, seen it happen to others in real life and in movies, but it never seemed to be happening to me. I was always the youngest of a group, the one they called 'cutey' for some unimaginable reason. The one that will have more to do and learn before she can understand things properly. After a while, I realised that that condition was not temporary. I am finally in the position to begin to know how little I knew. When one is little, we are under the impression that we know more than anyone thinks we know. Well, that might very well be true, and maybe that is what some people still think from time to time. For me, though, I begin to fear that I know too little to work as a proper person in this day and age. Maybe it's true, maybe it's not. It rather depends on what job I suppose. One of these days though, I know that I am going to be asked a question that I don't understand in the least, and people will be astonished that I don't know; and I, after all this time of thinking I'm grown up, will know that I have not. Is that normal? Is that still being a child? Is that life? The more I contemplate the supernatural, the more I know it is beyond my reach. This existence is a person though. I am convinced of it. I am also convinced that this person, that is beyond my reach, became man. That man knew all the answers and all the questions. He also, I have heard, knows all the hairs on my head. He gave them to me after all. I'm glad someone knows all the things that confuse me and frustrate me. Someone has to. I'm just glad it's not me...
