Long time no blog!

Oh boy, it has been a long time since I have written anything at all.
I don't pretend to be missed but this was originally an experiment for how well I could keep this writing up. I think I'm giving myself a D - ...

So, a lot has happened since I posted my last post. I turned Sixteen for one! Ok, so not that much but I feel like a lot of time has passed. Well, actually, the DYC of Vermont has put on Congress now that I think of it. Good thing too! It was getting kinda stressful. A friend of mine got married on the same weekend so my sister and I ended up missing some of Congress! Anyway the wedding was really cool. That was my first and I was serving! I got to see everything up close! It wasn't quite as big as I'd thought it would be but that was kinda nice in the end. Even though I didn't get to go to the reception, I saw a lot of people that I should have said hi to but as usual at times like these I rushed on to my oh-so-busy schedule. Congress was of course what I was missing part in at the time but it still took a while to get back on the road. When we got there, things were moving along as planned and even a bit ahead of schedule for a change. But since I wasn't there in the beginning, no one knew who I was. That is not a very good thing when you are trying to lead a group of people at a retreat...

Anyway, so Congress was a success and I have fully recovered from all that. Shortly after, my sister and I were rushed off to the Addison Fair and Field Days and took a mud bath while managing to hold on to the halters of the crazed sheep we were supposed to be showing. That was the story of that weekend! On to the next fair, the Vermont State Fair in Rutland. That was much more fun as it was relatively dry there. Lots of maple candy fills my memory all of the sudden... hehe Eastern States fair in Mas. was fun too. That was one I have just recently come back from and am going back to in two weeks for the animal shows. The only thing we did this time was do a demonstration exhibit in the 4-H building. That was interesting. You know, it is quite possible to get sick of fair food and sticky fingers after all... Funny how I never noticed that before...

Besides all the fairs, our deanery youth group has been getting started. Finally!!! so now that it has gotten off it's duff... There is this awesome Medieval Fall Festival that one of my other sisters has started planning. Oh man, I can not wait!!! It is going to be so fun! We decided to make it ecumenical to make it bigger and a bit more inviting. I really hope this turns out well!

So though things are going on after all, somehow I manage to be lazy, stubborn, wimpy and much more. How can I do this? I don't rightly know... I do know that it's hard and exhausting though. I hope I stop soon...

Love from me,
Bridge
